Common Questions
Do you only treat women or expecting moms?
No! While I do see primarily women, I have experience treating patients from all walks of life. We can schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
Do you accept insurance?
Not at this time, but I can give you a superbill to submit to insurance for potential out of network reimbursement.
What kind of therapy do you offer?
Supportive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Do you see patients in person?
At this time I only offer HIPAA compliant telehealth.
Do you see patients with psychosis or substance use disorders?
While I have plenty of experience treating primary psychotic illness, I do not believe that telehealth is optimal for patients on long acting antipsychotic injections. I see patients with substance use disorders as secondary diagnoses. I do not prescribe Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use or patients who are actively withdrawing from alcohol.
When can I expect a response to a patient message or refill request?
Within 24 hours Monday-Friday.
What states are you licensed to practice in?
I am currently licensed to see patients via telehealth in California, Florida, New York, and Georgia. You must be physically located in one of these states at the time of our appointment.
What should I expect during my first evaluation?
The initial 60-minute evaluation is a comprehensive assessment where we discuss your clinical history, current symptoms, and goals. By the end of this session, we will collaborate on a personalized treatment plan which may include medication management, therapy, or both.
